Your information
What we collect. Your name, email, phone, city and state, your role and workplace, and any optional answers you give us (social handles, survey answers, prices you choose to share).
What others see. In Circles, other members see only your display name and role, or “Anonymous” when you post anonymously. Your email, phone, workplace and answers are never shown.
Pro pages are public only if you publish one, and show only what you put on them: your chosen name, picture, role, the city if you chose to show it, and the work you post. Anonymous members can't have a public page.
Photos and stories. We resize photos and videos on your phone before upload, which also removes hidden location data. Stories are visible to signed-in members only and are deleted automatically after 24 hours. Delete any post or story yourself at any time. Media is stored with our providers Supabase and Cloudflare.
Safety. When you post anonymously, other members can't see who you are, but our moderators can, so we can deal with abuse. Chat photos are deleted after 24 hours.
Sponsored content. Some posts and perks are paid for by brands and are always labeled “Sponsored.” We choose what to show you using only what you've told us (like your role, state and Circle). Advertisers never get your name, email or any personal details; they only see totals like how many people saw or tapped their post. Tap “Hide” on any ad and you won't see it again.
Prices you share are only ever shown as area ranges combined from at least five people, never individually.
What we save as you use the site. When you use the Pricing Scorecard or the What If calculators, we save the numbers you enter and the results, even if you don't tap Share. If you're not signed in, they're saved with a random browser code, not your name. We also count page visits ourselves (no Google or Facebook trackers) so we know what's useful. We use all of this, along with posts, threads and Circle chats, to improve the tools and to publish industry reports made of combined, anonymous numbers. Individual prices are never shown publicly: area price ranges only use prices people chose to share, from at least five people. Private side chats and mentoring chats are not used for reports.
Feedback, polls and “For you”. Feedback you send and your quick-poll answers are saved so we can see what to build next; poll results are only shown as totals. To pick the “For you” suggestions on your home screen, we keep a small score of which areas you use most (like pricing, pay or learning), rebuilt from the last 60 days of activity. You can turn any area off with “Tune”. We may use an AI service to summarize combined totals and anonymous feedback text for our own planning; names, emails and account details are never included.
How we use it. To run your account, improve the tools, publish anonymous industry reports, and, if you opted in, send you updates by email or text.
We don't sell your personal information.
Your choices. Edit your profile any time from your dashboard. To export or delete your data, contact us and we'll handle it.
